The rather strong high pressure will shift down from southern China to upper Thailand during 6-7 April while the westerly trough will cover the North. During 7-9 April, the easterly winds will affect more rain with isolated heavy downpours for the South.

       
Outbreaks of summer storms, thunderbolt, gusty winds, hail and downpours are forecast for the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East. By 7 April, continuous thundery rain remains for the western part of the North and Central, including Bangkok and its vicinity while the upper South gets more rain. A reduction of rainfall is also likely for the Northeast and the East.

       
People in upper country should stay safe from severe weather. Keep off unsecured building and outdoor and beware of crop damage. All ship in the South should proceed with caution as rough sea 2-3 meters high expected in both the Gulf and the Andaman. Affected areas are as following:
