The high pressure system from China covers upper Thailand and South China Sea. The westerly trough is moving through the North. Summer thunderstorm is likely over upper Thailand. Outbreaks of thunderstorm, thunderbolt with gusty winds and hails are forecast in the North, the Central, the East, the South including Bangkok and its vicinity while less rain in the Northeast. People should keep off unsecured building and outdoor and farmers beware of crop damage.
Affected areas are as following:
North: Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet and Tak.
Northeast: Loei, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram and Surin.
Central: Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya,
Nakhon Prathom including Bangkok and its vicinity.
East: Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
South: Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan and Chumphon.
The active low pressure covers Andaman Sea cause isolated heavy rain in the South. People in the South should beware heavy rain.
